Testimonials
I have had the pleasure of supplying ICON Orthotics to my patients for the past eight years. My experience with the company has been most rewarding. I have never felt more confident in an orthotic product yielding a predictable, positive outcome for plantar fasciitis and biomechanical faults.
There is a learning process to the casting technique, but when that is accomplished happy patients will thank you and refer others. Dr.’s Robert Levine and John Feulner have been most helpful in being available to handle more difficult cases.
Having happy patients with improved foot function has made practicing that much more worthwhile.
If you’d like to further discuss ICON Orthotics with me, please do not hesitate to call my office at 727-734-5575.

ICON orthotics allows me to practice biomechanics the way I have always envisioned biomechanics should be.... uncomplicated and with outstanding patient satisfaction.
I am not a biomechanics guru, but my patients think I am. I appreciate ICON orthotics for making me a better podiatrist.
Dr. Gary McCoy
I believe Icon Orthotics are better than any other devices I have personally and professionally used. All I really have to do is ask my wife and son who wear them as well. They love them.
Dr. Stephen Levin
Dear Bob,
It’s been eight weeks since I started wearing my new orthotics. From the moment I started wearing them, I felt relief to my right heel. I had three pairs of orthotics made over the past four and a half years, but none afforded the comfort as these.
Since the relief has been so great I have now incorporated “Icon Orthotics” into our Podiatric Medical Practice. Our patients and staff have been extremely satisfied with the results so far.
Thanks!
Bruce Levine, DPM
I am very enthusiastic about Icon Orthotics. I have used them for the last four years and functionally in my opinion they are far superior to any other biomechanical orthotic. My favorite letter was from a patient that said after one month with the orthotics his feet did not hurt anymore, his back didn’t hurt, and when he come home from work he is much nicer to his wife and his children.
If the patient is not happy with the orthotics, the podiatrists from Florida BioMechanics Group (and Icon Orthotics) will personally do their best to adjust them properly. This is very helpful to me. Very rarely are they not able to satisfy the patients. Few Icon Orthotics need adjustment. Most of the adjustments I can do myself in the office.
I would be happy to talk to any podiatrist that is considering using Icon Orthotics.
Sincerely, Tyler Brahm, DPM
I wanted to take an opportunity to comment on our and our patient’s experience with your orthotics. Since day one, the level of patient satisfaction with orthotics has improved remarkably and the rate of adjustment, alteration to the orthotics has been minimal. Often times sending in a dress shoe and certainly the outline of the insole for athletic shoe wear has virtually eliminated and adjustments on our end. We have also used your orthotics in place, many times, of UCBL’s since the Total Contact concept of your orthotics has resulted in excellent control and tolerance on the part of the patient. The mal-alignment syndrome which many of our patients have is well treated with these orthotics resulting in decreased stress and symptoms not only in the subtalar joint but remarkably in the knee, hip, and low back as well. On the rare occasions when adjustments are necessary they are easily performed in our office in a matter of minutes.
Your support system via phone and in person for our patients and any specific problems has been extremely helpful.
Once again, thank you, for the consistently good product.
Warmest personal regards,
Salvatore DeLellis, DPM
I have been in practice since 1979 and during those years I have used just about every orthotic lab that was available, including pathology specific orthotics. The results were always hit and miss, even though I told the patient that their symptoms would improve, I knew in the back of my mind that it was at best a 50/50 proposition. It got to the point where I stopped prescribing orthotics and concentrated on surgical approaches to correct my patients' problems. This all changed with a conversation which I had with Dr. Robert Levine at the 2008 SAM seminar. He briefly described a new approach to biomechanics concentrating on recognizing the patient's faulty mechanics.
Of course, I was skeptical at first but he made a pair of devices for one of my office staff who had suffered from recurrent and chronic plantar fasciitis. Needless to say, her symptoms resolved, and have not returned but additionally, her chronic back pain disappeared. I then knew that there was something to this new theory at looking at biomechanics. I spent sometime in Dr. Levine's office and took every course that Icon Orthotics offered. Gait analysis has finally started to make sense to me. I have become a convert and have prescribed over 100 pairs to patients. The results that I have been getting are nothing less than outstanding. Just last week, I dispensed a pair to a patient who has been to numerous other physicians with bilateral painful hallux limitus. After dispensing the orthotics, I asked the patient to walk down the hallway so that I could view her gait. As she turned and walked towards me, I noticed that she was crying. I became quite concerned and asked her if she was in pain. She responded by saying, "no" and "that these were the first steps that she had taken in 10 years with almost no pain at all". I think this case says it all about Icon Orthotics. I would be glad to discuss my experiences with any one who is interested.
