Bio

With a solid sports medicine background being a Certified Athletic Trainer, John went onto to become a Podiatrist who likewise developed a strong interest in biomechanics and orthotics.  Determined to learn all he could about orthotics, he went onto complete an advanced orthotics program at Northwestern University and became an ABC Certified Orthotist thereby learning extensively about orthotics and their manufacture.  He worked primarily in the field of orthotic manufacturing for most of his podiatric career and four years ago when he started his own lab, Icon Orthotics.  John is currently the President and owner of Icon Orthotics.   Additionally, he went into practice with Bob Levine and helped him to develop an exclusively biomechanics practice, Florida BioMechanics Group.  He developed the initial concept of what is know as structured biomechanics and is the primary lecturer for this comprehensive two day course.

Bio

Through his 24 years of clinical practice Bob has always found biomechanics and orthotics to be a very challenging and rewarding part of his practice.  Throughout his experience, he has heavily gravitated towards this particular aspect of podiatric practice.  In fact three years ago he gave up his traditional practice to open from scratch a biomechanics practice; one that exclusively deals with faulty mechanics, orthotics and shoe gear.  Bob has stayed busy lecturing over the past seven years on the subject of biomechanics and recently, he has begun a biomechanics consulting service.  Bob is an owner of Icon Orthotics, a foot orthotic lab located in the Tampa Bay Area.
